Districts Split Pajamarama Bragging Rights

As part of Paige’s Pajamarama on Friday, September 27, Cicero-North Syracuse High School challenged Liverpool High School to see which school could raise the most money to support Paige’s Butterfly Run, Inc. in their efforts to help kids fighting cancer at Upstate Golisano Children’s Hospital. The challenge brought excitement to both districts, and the event soon expanded to additional schools and departments.
The totals are in and…
- LHS raised $5,638.59
- CNS raised $5,531.45
- North Syracuse Central School District’s grand total was $15,044.34
- Liverpool Central School District grand total was $13,438.65
Fittingly Liverpool and North Syracuse get to split bragging rights this year!
In the end, the kids fighting pediatric cancer at Upstate Golisano Children’s Hospital are the real winners. Together these rival schools raised $28,482.99 to help support pediatric cancer research and patient programs at the hospital.
